每年秋天，D.C. 酒吧 董事会 of Governors seeks candidates for appointments to the Lawyer Assistance Committee (LAC). The LAC is a standing committee of the D.C. 酒吧. Members assist with outreach initiatives and identify ways to increase the reach and utilization of the LAP. LAC由13个D组成.C. 酒吧 members and one non-lawyer. Members meet on Zoom or at D.C. 酒吧 headquarters on the second Tuesday of every other month from 4:45 to 5:45p.m. 十一月开始. Appointments are made in the fall. All candidates must be members in good standing of the D.C. 酒吧, except the position designated for a non-lawyer member. LAC members are appointed to serve a two-year term. Members can serve a total of three consecutive two-year terms.
